The Juno Beach Centre in Normandy, France stands
as a permanent memorial for all Canadians who
served our Nation during the Second World War.
It also serves as an education centre telling
Canada’s story from 1939 to 1945 and provides
visitors a glimpse into contemporary Canada as
well. We invite all educators to discover the Juno Beach Centre and to use its educational
content, to support and to complement their classroom
history programs. To this end, we have developed an annual
professional development program for Canadian educators
and we offer educational activities - led by young Canadian guides - for school groups
from all over the world.
For these reasons, the Juno Beach Centre is ideal for visiting school groups.
